The #HourOfCode is a global movement introducing tens of millions of students worldwide to computer science. It is about inspiring kids to learn more, leaving them feeling empowered.
December.4th-10th is Computer Science Education week! We are happy to announce this is our 3rd year volunteering to teach an Hour Of Code at schools throughout Edmonton. We believe every student in every school should have to the chance to learn computer science! We want kids to have another opportunity to innovate through coding.
Discover Coding Zone is teaching 17 classes, over 400 kids at 5 different schools: Annunciation Catholic School, Aurora Charter School, Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour School, St. Martha and St. Joseph Catholic School (in Spruce Grove).
